New CD “Light to Shine” now available December 2nd, 2010

I’m delighted to report that my third CD, “Light to Shine,” has been shipped and is now available through Indie Pool, iTunes, and other music outlets.  Later this month, this website will be updated to feature the album’s cover art and a couple of free MP3s, including my musical rendition of William Blake’s song “London.”  Featuring the amazing chops of Jason Fowler (guitar), Gary Breit (piano and keys), Maury LaFoy (bass), Mark Mariash (drums), and Burke Carroll (pedal steel guitar), the CD departs from my previous albums by moving away from literary themes in favour of a more upbeat, pop-oriented sound and an eclectic mix of genres including folk, rock, dixieland, and country.  Although the CD is available now (check it out!), I hope to give it a proper launch sometime in February with a radio debut on CBC’s “North by Northwest” and a free unplugged concert at Art Space in Prince George.  This is the best music I’ve ever made, and I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to the project.
