Biography
Kevin Hutchings lives along the shores of Ness Lake in the central interior of British Columbia, not far from the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains. A teacher, musician, and award-winning author, he has released three CDs—Songs of William Blake (2007), On the Bridge You Were Burning (2009), and Light to Shine (2011)—and he has published books and articles on William Blake, Romantic literature and culture, indigenous North America, and the wildlife of coastal British Columbia. Kevin is professor of English and Canada Research Chair in Literature, Culture and Environmental Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia. He also works as a book series co-editor for Ashgate Publishing.
