New Release: John Buchan’s Poetry in Song October 6th, 2023

My newest solo album, titled John Buchan’s Poetry in Song, is now available for free streaming on YouTube. The album features my musical performances of ten early John Buchan poems, most of which were written in the 1890s during Buchan’s university days at Glasgow and Oxford. During the past several years, I spent many happy hours working on this project. I hope listeners will enjoy my simple folk renderings of these songs, most of which are about the lovely people and landscapes of Scotland. On October 21st, I will be launching the album in Toronto with a live performance for members of the John Buchan Society at the Royal Canadian Military Institute in Toronto.
