A week or so ago my new CD, “On the Bridge You Were Burning,” was finally finished and delivered. Because I’m heading to the United Kingdom for a good part of the summer to do research for a new book project, I plan to wait until the autumn to release the album formally (though it should be available at www.Indiepool.com and through iTunes and other online music sites before the end of the month). Although it took a while to finish the project, I couldn’t be happier with the way it has turned out. Working with lyricists like Lord Byron, John Keats, Percy Shelley, and Grahame Davies–not to mention a lineup of the hottest musicians including Sahra Featherstone, Jason Fowler, Al Cross, Gary Breit, George Koller, Joe Phillips, Hugh Marsh, and John Showman–how could I be other than thrilled?  Featuring original cover art by Scott Dickson and digipack layout and design by Richard Boudreau, the CD package is pretty nice looking too. During the summer I’ll be updating this website to account for the new album and its artwork, and I’ll be sure to provide a couple of free MP3s. So please stay tuned.
