Back to Teaching and Research December 19th, 2018

After a busy six months working as Acting Chair of the UNBC Department of English, I’m looking forward to returning to my usual faculty role in January, when I will be back in the classroom and returning to research. The new year is shaping up to be an exciting one, including travel in May to Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany, and a trip in July to Lancaster, UK, where I will present a keynote talk at the 2019 Transatlantic Studies Association conference. I also hope in the new year to finish an EP music project I’ve been working on with my remarkable multi-instrumentalist friend Mike Bohrmann. With any luck, I will also finish revising my latest book manuscript, a labour of many years now tentatively entitled Transatlantic Portraits of Upper Canada: Literature, Land, and British-Indigenous Relations. 2019 will be a busy year for sure!
