My latest academic book, entitled Transatlantic Literary Ecologies: Nature and Culture in the Nineteenth-Century Anglophone Atlantic World, was published earlier this year by Routledge. I had the great pleasure of co-editing this volume with my friend and colleague John Miller, a former UNBC Postdoctoral Research Fellow who is now a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield in England. Featuring an Afterword by James C. McKusick (author of the groundbreaking monograph Green Writing: Romanticism and Ecology), the book features essays written by a dozen British, Canadian, and American ecocritics.
