Today is a landmark day in the life of my most recent book project, Transatlantic Literary Ecologies, which I have spent three and a half years writing and co-editing with my friend (and former UNBC postdoc), John Miller of the University of Sheffield in England. Having been revised in light of the peer-review, the book is just under 100,000 words in length, featuring chapters written by twelve different authors, including some of the brightest minds in transatlantic studies. This morning we submitted the manuscript to the press, and we hope to see it in print later this year. Time now to turn my attention to that other book project…
