CD launch for “Light to Shine” Feb 25 February 13th, 2011

On February 25th I’ll be returning to my favourite hometown music venue, Cafe Voltaire (at Books and Company, in Prince George, BC) to launch my new CD, Light to Shine, with an unplugged coffeehouse concert. (For someone like me–a caffeine-powered indie songwriter who also writes books–what better place to perform than in a bookstore cafe, eh?!)  I’ve asked local guitar-wunderkind Eric Tompkins to accompany me on acoustic versions of the CD’s twelve songs (though we’ll be sure to play favourites from Songs of William Blake and On the Bridge You Were Burning as well).  The music will start at 8:00 PM and we’ll play until the cafe kicks us out at 9:30 or so.  I’m rehearsing every day in anticipation…
