Nessie Fest–The Ness Lake Music Festival August 21st, 2009

Tomorrow afternoon I’ll be performing at the Ness Lake Music Festival–or “Nessie Fest” as the Prince George Folk Festival Society’s event organizers are calling it.  The headline artist will be Cara Luft, the Juno Award winning finger-style guitarist and singer/songwriter (formerly of The Wailin’ Jennies).  For my own set I’ll perform songs from both of my CDs as well as some brand new material, including a song I wrote during my recent visit to Edinburgh and London.  For me, one of the best things about Nessie Fest is its location: it will be held only a few hundred metres down the road from my home, so my getting there and back again will be carbon neutral!
