Forthcoming Publications June 22nd, 2016

During the past couple of weeks I’ve been dealing with copy-editorial queries and correcting page proofs for three of my forthcoming essays, including a chapter for Cambridge University Press’s A Global History of Literature and the Environment, a chapter for Edinburgh University Press’s Companion to Atlantic Literature, and an article for The John Buchan Journal–all scheduled for publication before the end of 2016. Today I also received word from Ashgate that my co-edited book Transatlantic Literary Ecologies will be published in hard cover in November. I’ve also been working diligently on an essay about Chief John Brant of the Grand River Six Nations for my much-delayed book on Transatlantic Upper Canada, a first full draft of which I hope to complete sometime in the next year or so. It’s shaping up to be a good year for my writing projects. Whether or not I’ll find time this summer to record a new music CD remains to be seen; I’ve been talking to a producer about the possibility of recording down at the coast in early August, but scheduling issues might push this project into 2017. I should know one way or the other in the next couple of weeks…
