A New Publication on Blake’s Musicianship August 29th, 2007

I’m happy to announce the publication of my multi-media essay “William Blake and the Music of the Songs.”  It appears as the lead essay in the latest issue of Romanticism on the Net and can be accessed at http://www.erudit.org/revue/ron/2007/v/n45/015815ar.html.

The essay examines the musical aspect of Blake’s artistry and aesthetic philosophy, incorporating digital images of various watercoloured engravings from Blake’s “Songs” plus a few MP3 files from my CD.  If you find time to read the essay, do please let me know what you think!
